The name Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow is derived from the Gnollish language, as Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow was founded by Gadonhê vyim Rolɑrtɑcu, who was culturaly Gnollish.
Climate

Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow was founded durring the early 13th century in spring of the year 1228, by Gadonhê vyim Rolɑrtɑcu. The establishment of Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow's construction back out of the project. Gadonhê vyim Rolɑrtɑcu pushed on reguardles, and Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The town's top tier civilian fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.
Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Likely due to this, Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. Mäpt Jēkwäzd-kéáp ákow lost 155 people, and 378 livestock in the disaster.. The disaster is remembered as the Heartache Screams, after the sounds of the winds.
